  • 1 cup fresh mango, peeled and diced Look for ripe mango that yields slightly to pressure.
  • 2 ounces tequila Use good blanco tequila for bright flavor.
  • 1 ounce triple sec Adds a fragrant orange hint.
  • 1 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed Fresh lime is essential for balance.
  • 1 to 1.5 cups Ice Adjust for desired thickness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Hull and slice the strawberries and peel and dice the mango into roughly equal pieces for even blending. Chill the glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes.
Blending
  1. In a blender, add the strawberries, mango, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and measured ice. Blend until smooth and velvety.
Rimming the Glass
  1. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your chilled glass and dip it into salt or sugar for an even coating.
Serving
  1. Pour the blended margarita into the rimmed glass and garnish with a slice of strawberry or a small mango wedge.
  2. Serve immediately for the best texture.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight pitcher for up to 24 hours. Freeze portions for up to 1 month.
