Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 24 pieces regular size marshmallows
  • 12 oz white candy melts or vanilla flavored almond bark Choose melts labeled for dipping for best results.
  • 4 oz green candy melts Ensure the brand does not bleed into the base when set.
  • 4 oz yellow candy melts
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil Use if the melted coating seems too thick.
Decoration
  • to taste rainbow sprinkles Nonpareils or heat-resistant sugar confetti preferred.
  • to taste shamrock sprinkles
  • as needed treat sticks or bamboo skewers Use food-grade lollipop sticks or sturdy skewers.
  • as needed piping bags For drizzling the melts.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper and insert sticks through the center of each marshmallow.
  2. Melt the white candy coating according to package directions, stirring frequently.
Coating
  1. Dip or spoon the melted white candy over each marshmallow until covered and allow excess to drip back.
  2. Melt the green and yellow candy melts separately and transfer each color into piping bags.
Decoration
  1. Drizzle the green and yellow candy over the coated pops while the coating is still slightly tacky.
  2. Add rainbow and shamrock sprinkles onto the warm drizzle.
Setting
  1. Allow the pops to set at room temperature until fully firm, usually 20-30 minutes.

Notes

Store pops in a single layer in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days. They can be frozen for up to 2 months.
