Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 1.5 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (like Oreos) Use regular Oreos for best flavor.
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
For the filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Use full-fat for best results.
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract Adjust by taste.
  • a few drops green food coloring For festive color.
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped Or use tub whipped topping.
For decoration
  • 0.25 cup melted chocolate
  • whipped cream (for garnish)
  • chocolate shavings or chips (for garnish)
  • green sprinkles or edible glitter (for garnish)

Method
 

Prepare the crust
  1. Combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter; press into a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. Chill the crust in the fridge for 15-20 minutes until firm.
Make the filling
  1. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Mix in peppermint extract and green food coloring until well incorporated.
  3. Fold in whipped cream gently until the mixture is light and airy.
Assemble the pie
  1. Layer half of the filling in the crust, drizzle with half of the melted chocolate, and swirl.
  2. Add remaining filling, smooth the top, and swirl the rest of the chocolate on top.
Garnish and chill
  1. Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and sprinkles.
  2. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serve
  1. Slice with a hot knife and serve chilled.

Notes

For best results, allow cream cheese to soften at room temperature before mixing. Chill overnight for improved flavor.
