Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 4 cups Mixed greens A mix of tender and peppery leaves.
  • 2 medium Ripe tomatoes, diced Choose firm yet ripe tomatoes for best flavor.
  • 1 medium Cucumbers, sliced Persian or English cucumbers preferred.
Vinaigrette
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil Use extra-virgin for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Vinegar or lemon juice Red wine or sherry vinegar for depth.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
Optional Add-ins
  • 1 medium Avocado, diced For creaminess.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh herbs (basil, parsley, dill), chopped Use sparingly for brightness.
  • 1/4 cup Roasted nuts (almonds, walnuts) For added crunch.
  • 1/4 cup Cheese (feta, goat, parmesan), crumbled Optional for richness.

Method
 

Prepare Salad
  1. In a large bowl, place mixed greens, then add diced tomatoes and sliced cucumbers on top. Gently fold the leaves.
  2. Drizzle the vinaigrette over the salad and toss gently.
  3. Add any optional seasonal ingredients and fold them in.
  4. Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.

Keep greens dry for better texture. Store components separately to maintain freshness. Serve with additional vinaigrette on the side if desired.
