Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Place each chicken breast between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound gently to about ¾ inch thick.
Mixing the Topping
- In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), grated Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Assembly and Baking
- Spread the topping evenly over each chicken breast.
- Place the coated breasts in the baking dish and sprinkle with optional paprika or Italian seasoning.
- Bake for 35–45 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden.
Serving
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, let coated breasts rest in the fridge for 15-30 minutes before baking. For crispier edges, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end of baking.
