Ingredients

For the sliders
  • 1 lb cooked, shredded chicken breast Choose boneless, skinless breasts for shredding ease; can use rotisserie chicken.
  • 1/4 cup honey Use a mild floral honey for balance.
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard Opt for smooth, authentic Dijon rather than a honey mustard blend.
  • 6 pieces slider buns Choose potato or brioche-style buns for richness.
  • to taste crispy greens (like lettuce or spinach) Adds freshness and crunch.
  • to taste salt and pepper Use freshly cracked pepper for better flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the honey and Dijon mustard until smooth and glossy.
  2. Toss the cooked shredded chicken with the honey mustard sauce until well coated.
  3. Season the chicken with salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste.
  4. Place the chicken mixture on the bottom half of each slider bun.
  5. Top with crispy greens like lettuce or spinach.
  6. Place the top half of the bun on each slider and serve immediately.

Notes

Store chicken mixture in an airtight container in the fridge for 3–4 days. Assemble sliders just before serving for best texture. Toast buns lightly before assembly to prevent sogginess.
