For the Brownies
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter Melted
  • 2 cups Sugar Granulated
  • 4 large Eggs Room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Pure
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Green food coloring Gel or paste preferred
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips Semi-sweet
For the Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Full-fat, softened
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
Mixing Brownies
  1. Melt the butter and stir it into the sugar until glossy.
  2. Add eggs, vanilla, and green food coloring and whisk until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt, then fold into the wet mixture.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  2. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
Making the Frosting
  1. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
Finishing Touches
  1. Cool the brownies completely before frosting.
  2. Slice into squares and serve.

Notes

Store frosted brownies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Freeze unfrosted brownies for longer storage.
