Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) with the rack centered.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to a rectangle, about 10x12 inches.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and Parmesan cheese over the sauce.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log, starting from one long side.
- Slice the log into 1-inch pieces and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops lightly with olive oil.
Baking
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
Make ahead by assembling the log, wrapping tightly, and refrigerating. Freeze unbaked pinwheels for up to 3 months. Reheat before serving for best texture.
