Ingredients
  

Chicken Nuggets
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces Use fresh, boneless, skinless chicken breast.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Plain dry breadcrumbs or panko for a flakier texture.
  • 1/2 cup ranch seasoning mix Use a balanced herb packet or make your own.
  • 1/2 cup flour For dredging the chicken.
  • 2 large eggs Use room temperature eggs for better adhesion.
  • as needed spray/oil cooking spray or oil for baking Lightly spray to help with browning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and set the oven rack to the middle position.
  2. Prepare three bowls for flour, eggs, and breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Dredge chicken in flour, dip in egg, coat with breadcrumb mixture.
Baking
  1. Arrange coated nuggets on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced apart.
  2. Lightly spray or drizzle nuggets with oil.
  3. Bake for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

Properly cooked nuggets should register 165°F (74°C) at the thickest part. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
