Preparation
  1. Make the sauce by mixing honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  2. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add chicken pieces to the pan in a single layer and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Pour the prepared honey garlic sauce over the chicken and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens and clings to the chicken.
Serving
  1. Serve the chicken over cooked rice with mixed vegetables on the side.
  2. Garnish with sesame seeds and lime wedges if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days. For freezing, flash freeze the chicken before transferring to a bag for up to 3 months. Reheat gently to maintain texture.
