Method
Preparation
- In a blender, combine the cottage cheese, heavy cream, peanut butter, sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend on medium-high until smooth.
- Transfer to a large bowl and gently fold in the chocolate syrup and caramel. Do not overmix to maintain distinct swirls.
- Fold in the chopped peanuts, reserving some for topping.
Churning
- Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches soft-serve consistency (approximately 20–30 minutes).
Freezing
- Transfer to a freezer-safe container, pressing plastic wrap directly onto the surface, sealing with a lid, and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serving
- Allow ice cream to soften at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before scooping. Serve with extra chocolate syrup, caramel, and reserved chopped peanuts.
Notes
For smoother texture, chill ingredients beforehand. If mixture appears grainy after blending, strain through a fine-mesh sieve. Adjust sweetness based on preference, taking swirls into account.
