  • 1 standard package Oreo Cookies Approx. 24 cookies
  • 12 oz Chocolate Melting Wafers or Semi-Sweet Chips Choose melting wafers for glossy finish; semi-sweet for richer flavor.
  • 2–3 tablespoons Assorted Sprinkles Small nonpareils, jimmies, or sugar confetti work best.

  1. Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe glass bowl. Heat for 30 seconds, then stir thoroughly. Repeat in 30-second intervals until the chocolate is completely smooth and glossy.
  2. Take one Oreo cookie and dip it halfway into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip back into the bowl.
  3. Lay the dipped cookie onto a sheet of parchment paper or wax paper. Keep cookies spaced.
  4. While the chocolate is still wet, immediately shake sprinkles onto the dipped portion of the cookie.
  5. Repeat with the remaining cookies, working in batches if needed.
  6. Let the cookies sit undisturbed for approximately 20 minutes at room temperature until the chocolate has fully hardened.
  7. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

These cookies store well for days and are great for last-minute treats. For variations, you can use dark chocolate, white chocolate, or flavored coatings.
